Nice new field drainage pipes being laid down Springs Road. First step of the development? exactly the same tactics used at Landgate " they are agricultural drains" yeah, course they are.

Ties in nicely with the traffic counters outside The Springs.
Watch out next for a little man in a parked car ticking off cars, lorries, buses etc on a clipboard
The developers and the planners quietly building up a dossier.

They aren't field drains being laid they are trying to sort out the flooding on Spring road which they have supposedly sorted on 3 separeate occasions. The problem is there is 4 inch pipe under the road that takes all the run off water from the road, heinz and the bungalow estate. It needs a 12 inch diameter pipe. With regards to development the council are oblivious to the extensive shallow mine working that exist under the fields. The coal authority will tell them apparently but they don't know either.

the water is always very high near the heinz hgv entrance after heavy rain, but dont let the truth get in the way of a good story eh!

",but dont let the truth get in the way of a good story eh!"

Our beloved council would never try to pull the wool over residents eyes, would they?

i not not saying the council never pll the wool over peoples eyes, but on more than one occasion on springs road i've had to turn back because the road has been impossible to get through, becase the water been very high, and i only ride a bike..

I lived in the areas myself many years ago and drainage has always been bad around there. Its know as Springs rd for a reason......work it out for yourself.

But in saying that if Hossy claims its all all another council led conspiracy who are we to argue?
