I've noticed that replies to views, are very small in numbers, does that tell us something.

ROy.

Posted by: lectriclegs (2884) Report abuse
Indeed it does, Roy.

For instance there's a thread on here that's had over 14000 views and only 505 replies.

The replies are mostly by the person who started the thread.

As are the so-called "views"!

LL, Maybe people don't like poets that sit in corners.

Posted by: lectriclegs (2884) Report abuse
What ever happened to that other popular post?

The one with over 45000 views and about five replies.

Posted by: broady (12820)   Report abuse
Pulled by Brian a few nights ago.

...This equates to each poem being read by 28 people...

Not bad. Not bad.

Irene, did you mean that?

Posted by: lectriclegs (2884) Report abuse
Every egg a bird.

Posted by: bridger (250) Report abuse
Did you mean 'in the nest', LL?

Posted by: irene (2694)  Report abuse
No. I didn't, Jarvo. You know me better than that. I thought it was referring to the "other" post which has been removed.

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
I think bri removed it because it had so many view's it would upset"some people"

We all say silly things, but I don't think it's fair to throw such nasty comments
at Jarvo,I did once and have regretted it since..it isn't nice at all..and before
anyone calls me a crawler,I can assure that I'm far from it,so buck up
everybody,life's too short.

Posted by: broady (12820)   Report abuse
We walk down a two way street. In his time Jarvo has denigrated lots of people on here and lots of groups of people. What goes round comes round.

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
Possibly so Broady, but it's like a wheel going round and round, and surely enough is enough, why can't you all have a conversation about the goings on in the world or even the price of tea..to an onlooker it's ruddy boring and
nasty on all your parts, you have remember your comments ..and mine..are
global, just try being a bit more Christian to one another,as I said,I once
said something nasty too,and have regretted it ever since..I'm not being a
goody two shoes,I'm too outspoken myself, but let's try and leave the
nastiness to others eh!!!

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
Agree, momac, and its the same people all the time,

As for boredy it's a pity he didn't have a go at the "nasty uns" when they came out with nasty comments

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
Basil..you're just continuing the nastiness ,if you counted the number of
times you've typed the phrase"nasty uns",you'd be amazed,so let's try and
keep a bit of civility ..as I've said before anyone of us could have a heart
attack etc tomorrow, and I personally wouldn't want to cope with the fact that
I'd verbally attacked someone the day before,it just common sense isn't it.

Posted by: nanajacqui (1010)  Report abuse
Momac you're spot on there,it does get boring doesn't it.And as for Broady (I've met him)being named boring by "one person" you couldn't wish for a less boring person,he's a perfect gent

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
I can believe you NJ..I've also met a couple of people from WW that had mud slung at them and are no longer with us,which is sad isn't t it...it seems
a case of trying to find the nastiest names they can think of as well, which
does remind me of children in the playground.

Posted by: paul (3012)  Report abuse
Speaking personally Iv'e heard "broady" being called a number of "colorful names on a rugby pitch, but you "boring *%&*" wasn't one of them!

Posted by: Anne (3162)  Report abuse
I was once called "A greedy b***h." A certain word was deleted by admin but I do have a screen shot of the post. I did not retaliate nor have I contributed to any of this persons posts.

Posted by: mortarmillbill (330) Report abuse
I find reading the posts a lot better since I put a number of posters on my ignore list.

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
So momac, what would you call people, who attack fellow posters, come out with personal comments, accuse someone of hitting there own mother, wishing a heart attack on someone, to state a few,......saints!!!

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
BB,as I said previously,it's all going round and around..lets just leave it now
eh before the nastiness starts up again.

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
I'm just stating my opinion, I'm not the one attacking jarvo everytime he posts

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
B.B,I know that you can read,I never said you were.

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
Then maybe your comments should be aimed at them...eh.

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
BB,this will be my last comment, you obviously haven't read my meaning
correctly..I'm aiming comments at no one in particular ..just everyone
myself included as I've stated, can you understand that, now see how long
we can go without being nasty and with no name calling...that's me finished.

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
You said I was continuing the nastiness even though I was giving my opinion.

It won't last long because of "some people"

Posted by: bridger (250) Report abuse
Momac, you can talk to a man with a wooden leg, but you know how the rest of the saying goes.

Posted by: irene (2694)  Report abuse
bridger, please enlighten me if it's not too rude! I don't know that one. But I do know Momac and she is a lovely lady who would just like peace, harmony and friendship on here. x.

Posted by: momac (8408)  Report abuse
Thank you Irene.Im not familiar with that phrase, but I think it's on the same
line as "you can take a horse to water " etc.Im sure bridger will let me know
if I'm wrong.x

Posted by: basil brush (8927) Report abuse
All us decent posters on here want harmony and friendship but how can that happen when you've got "some people" attacking others every time they post and trying to stir things up, like Tom, aka Terry, aka bridger,is doing
