He would have been 83 today - will he ever get to retire

Makes more money now than he ever did, it was a belting career move!

Well as regards retiring, at 83 "It's Now Or Never"

He's no longer with us "Donít Be Cruel"

Sorry, no disrespect but I was never a fan. I loved "Suspicion" and "In the Ghetto" but that's it. To be honest, I don't think he would have wanted to be 83. He wanted to be Peter Pan and be young forever; it just doesn't work that way, unfortunately.

On hearing that Irene, he will be "All Shook Up" because he doesn't have a "Wooden Heart" and now he's "Crying In The Chapel"

Elvis was relatively young when he died so he's frozen in time like all the other pop idols who failed to grow old.
For the rest of us the best advice is Don't have any photos taken after 40,

I don't think my little Wigan World pic accompanying this comment is too bad, I-spy, although way past 40! But I'd rather be here having a laugh with you all, wrinkles and all, than "frozen in time". Come to think of it, it's you lovely lot on Wigan World that have CAUSED them!

I'm of the same mind as you Irene. Never liked his music. Although he was a very handsome man when he was young. Not so when he became obese.
