Not heard much of what is happening lately. Is it still STATUS QUO????? from the last postings, must be getting on to a couple of years ago now.

It seems to be sinking into the earth.
Is nothing worth
anything
anymore?
The wood whispers a silent prayer.
Is that you, Captain Bankes,
standing alone under the weeping willow
tree?

back in september this article appeared saying the council were actively Working to find a solution
... no doubt no money involved just chat-chat-chat
why don't they get their Haigh Hall 'friends' to convert it to a hotel ?

or all of us who'vve never actually seen it here's what it's all about ....
Exploring Winstanley Hall

and then there's the Ghost of Winstnley to be consulted and re-housed first.

I heard they were planning to give it one of the affordable houses on the proposed Landgate development at Bryn, bu as Bellway aren't going to build a single one (that's ZERO) they're going to turn down the application because of spiritual considerations.

mind you the clowncil's record with proprìerties with 'Hall' in isn't the best is it (Formby Hall, Ashton Town Hall) so maybe we should just hope they leave well be and be happy with the Status Quo which is not bad at all really is it

Couldn't see a date on the video but it looked to be in a worse state than when I last posted a video, April 2015, at least I was able to get inside. I walked over that way about June of this year, decided not to visit. Summer is a bad time to visit without bringing a machete. I do occasionally see people trying to decide which way is best to get there.
