Best Film This Year?
What has been the best film of 2017?
None of the films enjoyed by me have been made in 2017, but perhaps it is just me gerrin old/curmudgeonly, and not liking the current modes.
(I swear I am getting more like Victor Meldrew every day.)

i find it really hard to watch modern fims perhaps its because theres about 10 released every day, not like the owd days when you had to wait for blockbusters.

Well for a start off, there is best part of two months of 2017 to go yet and there are several films which have not yet been released this year, and there are several films from this year which I personally have yet too see, so surely this topic would have been better to have been posted in about six months time, when the 2017 films have worked there way through the system, from cinema, to bloo ray, paid streaming, netflix, amazon etc
Some 2017 films I have yet too see
Murder on the Orient Express
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Alien: Covenant
War for the Planet of the Apes
Blade Runner 2049
Dunkirk
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Released December 15 2017)

Not been to the pictures for ages but we saw The Mountain Between us. I enjoyed that . It's a couple who survive a plane crash on a snowy moutain and have to surive. There's a good one out this week about firefighters tackling a forest fire.

Dunkirk.
Hmm. That's not fair. I never go to the movies. Last time was in the seventies. So I am no judge. Dunkirk was an exception. Saw it once a a regular movie theatre, twice at iMax. IMax far superior.
