Wine Making
Once upon a time, there seemed to be retail outlets all over the place supplying the requisites for this activity: demijohns, air locks, yeasts, etc etc....
Now, I can only find one outlet in my neck of the woods, and they NEVER seem to be open.
I remember a good brew shop in Stockport, which I believe is still trading, but will be expensive wine if a trip across the Pennines is entailed.
Is home wine making a disappearing activity?
Is it being consigned to the history books along with trainspotting and weasel popping?

Priscus..I don't know where you live, but there's one just off Frog Lane and
one in Chorley..I used to love making my own but gave all my etceteras
away to a member of WWI just haven't enough room to keep it up..but I
miss brewing my own very much.

The one in Gidlow lane / Frog Lane has gone very expensive and limited stock, the owner has even started power washing refuse bins as a side line!

There's Natures Store in Leigh. I used to get home brew beer supplies from there until I got fed up with bottling it.

Been a long time since I bottled any. As I keep neighbours supplied with surplus produce from garden, they tend to be in the know, if any wine is underway.
People, (visitors) ask, "Is your wine ready yet?", and I say no, then there come the time where I say, we'll take a look......
And, WHOOSH......
it has all gone!
