I was as well, Momac, I didn't expect her to grow through with it. So sad. Sean Bean's excellent as the priest.

Will there be another series.

Just hope so .

Apparently Jimmy m insisted that Sean Bean played the priest so it may depend on him being available.

Can only agree with all these comments, it has definitely been the best TV Drama in all long while. Sean Bean is fantastic as Father Michael Kerrigan, and all the supporting cast are brilliant too. This is the first thing that I have watched from writer Jimmy McGovern, but after seeing this superb series, I will definitely look out for his name in the future. Highly recommended, this really is "must see" TV

Believer.

A few years ago jimmy m wrote a series entitled THE STREET which ran on the beeb for about 7 weeks if my memory serves .
Tim spall ,Anna Friel ,and some terrific actors and actresses were in it .

It was terrific and well worth watching if you can get hold of a set .

Hi momac (Maureen). So sorry to interrupt but I just dropped in to see how you are! Hope you are well and in good health. Its been so long since the Gt George St days, but in some ways, it seems like only yesterday!!! I keep telling myself that I'll get back into WW if only to continue to share our thoughts and memories of past times that should NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!! Please let me know how you are and what's been happening since we last spoke. Last time we spoke I'd been having some ups and downs with my health - but at the moment thank GOD (literally) I've been fine and I hope YOU are well too!!! As you well know, I'm a bit of a Night Owl and this stems from 50 years in the entertainment business - but all that is now in the past and has been for some time. Hope to hear from you very soon. As always (Lovely Lady) ... GOD BLESS. johnboy.

Hi Maureen, Thanks for the tip on Albums (Aug 4th 2017), I'll take a look ASAP and get back to you. I will try to keep in touch with WW from here on as I've still lots of story's to share and also look forward to hearing from others and yourself. I've a couple of operations coming up soon on BOTH thumbs (Arthritis), its nothing serious but it plays havoc with most things I do (including playing guitar). However, they tell me all should be well after the operations. We were supposed to be having a HEATWAVE this week but a recent look at the forecast says different ... not sure who tells most lies ie the GOVERNMENT or the WEATHER FORECASTERS (just joking). As usual ... Night and God Bless lovely lady. Johnboy.
