Galloways, do just about the best pies, pasties, hotpots, cakes, sandwiches etc in Wigan. Love them...

For the record
Wigan Latics - 0
Aston Villa - 2

With only a few games remaining; almost certain relegation for Latics

Mrs Galloway is the granddaughter of Mr & Mrs Bailey who had Bailey's Scotch Bakery on Mesnes Street and apparently they use the same recipes, their pies were very good and the shop was always packed. I can't vouch as to how good they are now though.

Tonker I wouldn't go in that shop in Beech Hill as it was an undertakers for years before it became a pie shop, Sweeney Todd comes to mind.

Though having said that there was at one time a butchers shop in Pemberton called Sweeney's.

Sorry ayrefield, Mrs Galloway is the DAUGHTER of George and Mary Bailey. She was Patricia Bailey (Known as "Trish"), The youngest of Three Children.

The Nigerian football team were so disappointed with yesterdays game....

that they will personally refund all expenses of their fans that travelled to support them...

All they need to do is give their bank details, sort codes and PIN numbers and they will transfer the money.

Spain completed 850 passes in their World Cup game the other night

The only way England could equal that

is if we put Harry Kane on Mastermind....

George Baillie had a farm in Digmoor in Upholland for many years.

His son Peter looked fit and well when i saw him at Ripon races a year or two ago.
