A television crew was at Wigan Pier today

I have just spotted this television crew again on Darlington Street, across from the Lidle supermarket and I am sure the reporter was Melvyn Bragg, he was walking towards the camera and talking and he was wearing a green/kaki coloured type of jacket

'Down And Out In Paris And London' is a splendid book.

Very entertaining.

It weren't Melvin Bragg, it was Dave Guest and what I saw happening opposite Lidle,as just been shown on BBC Northwest Toneet

I did see some of the media coverage last weekend.

A short video of last weekend's celebrations: Return to Wigan Pier by David Ryan
