They should up it to an automatic ban

There'll still be more prosecutions for dropping fag ends

A new driver who has only passed the test in the last 2 years will receive an AUTOMATIC BAN under the new rules.

Great news. But should be a total ban. You can always tell when someone is on their mobile, they don't move off at traffic lights when they turn green.

The only problem being there isn't enough Bobbys to enforce it

I wonder if the Police will be targeting mobile using motorists tomorrow to make an example of them.

6 on the trot this morning while walking through Poolstock.
The first six drivers waiting at the traffic lights at St James Church were all on a mobile phone texting.
Five females and a white van man.

What about people who 'fart' whilst driving, should they receive 12 points, a three year ban and have to take their driving test again
Replied: 1st Mar 2017 at 10:32
There will be quite a lot being banned, they only need to be cought twice in a three year period, and lots of folk are addicted to their phones.

TTS big difference in being distracted by using a phone and letting loose windI don;t think you can die from passing wind but you could die or kill some one else by using your phone

I don't know about that, because supposing you are driving and you let rip with a 'wet fart'
That could be very distracting
