"the lights at Hindley to the middle of Darlington St." - is nothing to do with Wigan's Georgean road system!

I AM very surprised Baker boy/T.T.S. that no one has commented on your "" moaning"" someone on this site really has problem's with me when i'm moaning ,well sod them.

I am in complete and utter agreement with the both of you regarding wigan's traffic situation .It seems to that in the past whenever we have had the chance for by-passe's "new road system's"" for whatever reason's they were not given the go-ahead for these new roads. So here we are 2017 and alas we are having to put up with this terrible problem.
There is one suggestion from me and that is when i married some 40 odd years ago my father-in-law said he thought if you reduced the fare's they would fill them. I kinda think
there may be something in his comment.. Why can't we try a test period of say 3 months to get people out of their car's, give a very good reduction in fare's then do the sums owt's worth a go .

Brainless would moan about traffic even if he lived in Venice. What he and the rest of his ilk efuse to accept is that they themselves are the main part of the problem.

Where there is no sense.....etc etc etc.

sad dog
you off course, being perfectly pc dont own a car,you have a plastic hat and bicycle.
the plastic hat covers an empty dome.
if your thinking off course is spelt wrong, its not it refers to your tangental thinking, its a reference to your constant rebuffals of any poster who dares criticse WMBC.

Yes, I agree, the traffic in Wigan is awful. But I think it is generally awful everywhere nowadays, with there being so many drivers on the road etc..

The englishmans home is his car...we are all to blame...it has happened in the last 20 years or so and road development can't keep up with it...telling people to get on their bike is like telling people to eat their 10 a day...it won't happen to 90% of the population

I blame all those foreign cars and trucks. Coming over here, taking up our roads space and delivering us stuff. I think the best and most advanced cars and trucks, should stay in their own country.

We have our own British cars and delivery trucks to drive. British means British.

but but, why should we have foreign cars? Ours are perfectly capable of doing the job of all the foreign cars.

You won't be saying that when a foreign car knocks down a family member. It says in the papers that more and more foreign cars are being sold in the UK each year. FACT

Even worse the government is giving foreign car sellers special treatment, even after Brexit. FACT

FACT. You can't go anywhere without seeing a foreign car. Post office, bank, they're parked everywhere stopping British cars from parking closer.

Tinted windows should be banned. You can't see the drivers face. What if one was a getaway car for a robbery? Then what?!!! Could even be a woman driving it, but you couldn't tell.

What's your problem Baker. You not like the truth.

There is one item i wish to comment on and that is if the likes of Nissan/Ford's decide to bugger off in the next few years or so just because they are not getting enough treats from B/GOV, Then i say ok sod off. Surely with all our PROWESS we can come up with a new design of motor car ,after all apart from USA i think we may have been at one time the best producer's of car's, so if they go we already have the facilities the factories etc, to restart building our own i don't see any major problem's if we have belief in ourselves.

I love it.....Ford Nissan Honda GM can all bugger off, take maybe 150,000 jobs with them and at the same time disrupt the economy for years after. Then someone else can just pick up where they left off....from nothing!!

You really are in wibbly wobbly world of your own GB!!
