Who the hell buys 3 lettuces

apparently the price of a lettuce in lidl as risen sharply from 39p to £1,13 pence.my advise, don't buy lettuce or the equally scarce and horrible gourgettes.

They were selling courgettes on Chorley market for £2.99 a pound. I only use them to bulk up mixed roast veg or ratatouille. At those prices I'll find a substitute. Lettuce and courgettes are not staples and folks can manage without.

Sprouts are a blight on humanity . And Broccoli is only fit for Stilton and Broccoli soup.
