Will we get this back to use on our fences when we fire off the EU(please)?

Doubt it. The vast majority of EU laws and regulations were backed by the UK, so unlikely we would drop something we considered positive in the 1st place.

I did my fair share of garden hopping in my scallywag days. Fences with splinters, rose bushes and clothes lines were the main painful obstacles. They're invisible in the dark.

The chap who named the wrestling move must have hopped a few in his time.

The other thing I used to love playing with as a kid was mercury, pushing it around and connecting up the little balls,I guess kids have missed out on that the little cotton wool wrapped darlings.
There's so many no no's now that it must be a boring world for kids.
I don't I don't I don't think the mercury did me any harm

I give up using creosote years ago,Ducksback costs more but lasts much longer, and is harmless to plants,I miss the original Jeyes Fluid, and Tumblebug though, and I can't see any of them coming back,

You can still buy it. Seen it the last 2 years at the Stafford Bike show on a stall thats sells everything you can think of. In 5 Gallon containers, pretty sure it says on the side its made from coal tar, can't remember the price but it wasn't a silly price

Coal tar creosote never went away, it just became an offence to sell it to the general public and for the general public to apply and use it.

Your man at the bike show was breaking the law

The show is twice a year and he has had it for the last 2 years, good luck to him, we will need written permission to have a crap in a bit AND a law will be passed you have to use both sides of the toilet paper....bloody dogooders
