del-girl, I have seen the message on the forum, but tried umpteen times to log on but cannot seem to. I would love that photo of Jimmmy Knowles because i think that is him she is referring to . I am taking a chance here hoping I will not have a flood of silly letters --

Elizabeth, If you can edit your post, it would be best to delete your home address for safety reasons

Thank you Sea Monkey for doing that , I didnt know how to delete the address so I asked Ron, and he has kindly done it for me thanks all concerned about it .You are a lovely group of people .

I have received the picture and it is off the Graves in Burma where Jimmy is buried , it looks a peacful well cared for cemetary , and she pointed out where he lies , so now had a good cry , brings everything back, the laughter we had, his 2 left feet dancing happy but sad memories that he and the likes didnt get the chance of a full life ,.cannot write anymore too upset . Thanks to the person who cantacted her

elizabeth those graves are so well tended, my friend came back from there last sunday and has some blinding pictures. Your mind must be at rest now knowing that your Jimmy is being looked after.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of somewhere or someone that i could get in touch with about getting a photo or details of a war grave in Thanbyuzayat war cemetery Burma.

Thanbyuzayat in burma is only just over the border from them but Im not sure if they can cross over

Thanks jj any help would be fantastic,A few years ago i was advised not to go due to the civil unrest as it was to dangerous plus it's one hell of a trip so i didn't bother.Empress put me onto the Burma star Ascc. last night so i left a message with them.Once again thanks for your help.
