A Catholic Conundrum.

And yet St Cuthbert's looks like a 5 star hotel compared.

Well in the last 12 months St Edwards and St Williams have closed and that is because the catholicks are not worshiping there anymore and so like it or loaf it, we have to acknowledge that Wigan is a multicultural society now, with a substantial Muslim population and I think that St Joseph's could be converted into a very nice Mosque, replacing the bell tower, with a Minaret

I would love to hear a Muslim Muezzin, calling the faithful to prayer, by yowling all over Wallgate from the Mosque Tower (minaret) on top of the old St Joseph's

There was always a gang of five of us girls that did and went everywhere
with one another, one died quite young..Molly lived on Spencer Rd,I lived
quite near and would visit her regularly..she passed away about six years
ago and her hubby never found out the cause he died last year..the house
hasn't gone on the market yet,and it's very strange to see it every time we
drive by.I miss them both an awful lot.
If you look on Album,St Josephs School if you haven't already seen it,
Molly is on the class photo,so is Pauline ,Irene Magalen and myself.
