Exercise

Started by: TerryW (inactive)

What you all up to while stuck in doors, been doing push up reps, sit ups and running on't spot enough to get a good sweat on and the heart pumping myself. People should watch what they eat if they aren't very active, don't over do it just because you're sat in because it will stay put and make you sluggish. Stay healthy and safe.

I do my circuit in the garage, I also have a bike (not Peleton) for raising the heart rate fast.

Don't forget to wear a fresh pair of socks every day too.

You won't be able to get your shoes on by Sunday but your feet wont stink.

Cordyline, that's great a few minutes a day on that and you'll be as fit as fleas in no time.

I have never got "stuck in doors". I think you would have to be very fat for that to occur.

Watched on TV, where Matt Hancock said take once a day outdoors exercise: walk run or cycle, then, immediately afterwards TV news showed police turning a lone cyclist round and sending him back home.

If you live in india punishment for violating the lockdown rules, besides being hit with a big stick, is press up and sit ups.

Platty that's the norm for all violations in India, they take no prisoners. I used to watch a programme called Karachi Cops from Pakistan and they were the same, absolutely brutal they are.

We need them over here on our streets.

P.S. Couldn't video my exercise for you today

Should keep us fit

Each day I have four sessions, burning about 60 calories each short spell
Only lost one pound in weight but I will keep at it
The machine make is Reebok; very smooth and better than we expected

Meanwhile to kill time while banged up under house arrest, I have started to make another Adirondack chair - managed to find enough timber lying around [Cedar and White Oak]
