Tom I use Adobe Premiere but I had to buy it, forgot how much it cost now.

tommy p.... the very original windows movie maker is still available for free. Look on Blain's movie blog. OK, it's basic but it's all I ever use. I don't mean the one that came with Windows essentials, the one before that one.

Mick..... never had the slightest trouble apart from needing to give it a rest occasionally when using for long periods. At these times I shut down completely wait a few minutes then resume. Maybe that is what you mean by getting stuck.

Anne, yes I use movie maker and i like it, its easy and reliable but, it does't come with Windows 10, Windows 7 is being phased out in January, So I'm looking for one when I update,

It might not come with Windows 10 but you can download it for free from Microsoft
