currently booked up unless you can go around 1615, i will be joining Basil in the Mount on Saturday

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
The 10 Bob millionaires will be going in.

Jjf, you'll be more than welcome

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
I hope it's a good menu for those who like good food instead of that Hungry Horse shite they plate up at lesser venues, mind you I suppose it fits the pockets of the benefit wallahs who like pub grub and bad ale and similar company to themselves.

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
They have another Restaurant Alberts Shed in Astley & my friends have eaten there & enjoyed

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
How would you know, Tom,?

Posted by: lisalee (12088)   Report abuse
I think they have 3 others NJ

I'm sure they have one in Castlefield and Didsbury too but I'll stand corrected if I'm mistaken.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse

Wow just seen First Look in Wigan Today it looks posh so we'll all blend in nicely

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Just seen it, I'll definitely fit in

Posted by: 0 years (3378) Report abuse
Just tried to book for Christmas Day, it's not open unfortunately.

Surprising.

Posted by: FAT MICK (89) Report abuse
Ive just rode around it @ 2.45 and it looks only half finish everybody is running round like chickens with there head cut off and the turf thats still being laid is going brown.

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
Mick the Company who ordered the turf had a delivery on a Friday & didn't intend to lay it till Tuesday by which time it had turned brown so they ordered more (good for me) and they needed to dispose of the wasted turf so obviously not got round to it

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
I'm very surprised that they will be missing out on the Christmas trade only five months after opening, a missed opportunity for the business.

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
Know what you mean Terry,we've not booked yet but will be going soon & hopefully can tell you more

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
Thanks Nana.

That's what happens mick, when you buy cheap lawn turf.

Posted by: broady (14403)   Report abuse
"That's all I do, I don't get personal and nasty, like "some people"

So sniping at a woman regarding turf doesn't isn't getting personal. You excuse for a man.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Go away boredy, and stop trying to cause trouble.

Posted by: broady (14403)   Report abuse
Cause trouble!!! Why the jibe about cheap lawn turf if not causing trouble. You seem to resent someone having a nice property. Is there a reason for that?

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
asil brush (11456)10,000+ Report abuse

That's what happens mick, when you buy cheap lawn turf.

That's not what happens when you buy cheap lawn turf, you can pay £4 or £10 per square metre & if its left on the pallet for 4 days or not watered every day for 3 weeks if it doesn't rain then it will die & turn brown !You have no idea what I charged

Jealousy generally refers to the thoughts or feelings of insecurity, fear, and concern over a relative lack of possessions. Jealousy can consist of one or more emotions such as anger, resentment, inadequacy, helplessness or disgust.

Posted by: lectriclegs (3623) Report abuse
just a thought

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
Thank you LL sums it up nicely wonder if he'll apologise

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Why should i be jealous, i simply made a comment about cheap grass, but look at it this way, it's got other members of the gang to jump on the thread to cause trouble

Posted by: broady (14403)   Report abuse
NJ,
Sue him for everything he has got. On second thoughts forget it. By the time you pay a solicitor you will be out of pocket.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Her comes one of the trouble makers, have you got back ont uther site, yet?

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
Bill you only need to look at his garden to see he's worth nothing,it's like banging your head against a brick wall...thick as pig muck

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Doesn't take nasty nana long to be her normal self

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
My normal self is not nasty YOU bring out the nastiness in everyone who replies when you ruin a thread, this thread was ticking along nicely until you joined in with your nasty comments..........LG is this the reason you've missed walshy so that he ruins a thread then blames everyone else ?????

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
Well done Nanajacqui.
They will have done their research about where to find the best quality turf available. You can see that a lot of time and money has been spent on the restaurant so why would they skimp on the turf.

As for Baasil. Not only does he have a yellow streak in his pelt he also harbours the green eyed monster

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
He won't be visiting Albert's, it's way out of his comfort zone and his pocket.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Here comes another of the gang 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

Not nasty, ha, er just replied to micks comment then boredy came on to cause trouble, that's when it went down hill

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
Thank you jathbee ,Andy who was the buyer sent for samples of turf from lots of Companies & chose mine so I was thrilled to win the contract

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
Strange, there is never any nastiness until you get your data back 😂😂😂

Posted by: nanajacqui (2077)  Report abuse
Broady didn't cause trouble,he was pointing out just how much of a liar you are !

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
No, there is no nastiness until you, and the rest of the gang, come on and attack decent posters.

Posted by: laughing gravy (4454) Report abuse

Well Iíve just driven past and I have to say itís looking very smart!

Lots of hustle and bustle in preparation for opening.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
That's rich coming from you, tom

LG i said that because if they can get away with paying for cheap turf they would do, more profit.

Posted by: laughing gravy (4454) Report abuse
nana i worked in the building game years and know full well the best quality turf would go brown i left on pallet or not watered properly in hot weather...

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
Can someone tell me who Tom is because this thick retard keeps calling me Tom and other names, you sound like an old woman repeating the same words over and over, you and your tagging along partner Stardelta remind me of Cissie and Ada two old nags, one who thinks he has a modicum of intelligence and one as thick as pig sh1t. A pair of gutless wonders who have called me by several names so far, Tom, Onion or something and others and neither have a real clue but like to think they know it all.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
I'm going for tom, can't prove it but you post the same way he does, just my opinion

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
Then you really are a retard.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
There's no need to get nasty,

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
Not nasty just stating facts.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Then he blames people not posting on someone else

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
So this is the way you stop the boards from dying is it? You've cause nothing but trouble since your first post, it's no wonder you get laughed at on here and probably where you live with your childish remarks.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
People won't post when you've got people like this

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
It shows what a bitter, twisted being you are when you waste all your data on stirring 😂😂😂

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
A bit like you and the rest of the gang who waste all you time on attacking me, every time i post, for no reason.

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
I think you will find that it was you who started the attack on Nanajacqui.
Your words show exactly what you are.

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
Have you noticed how he starts to post on other threads after causing trouble, like the Wigan one and the homeless man to make people think he's a decent poster. He's sick in the head with a nasty vindictive streak and a hatred of those who have got on in life while he's stagnated.

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
Spot on Terry.

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
He'll be on the phone to Sledge to get some backup now. A proper Cissie and Ada pair they are.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Mentioned about cheap turf, next thing the gangs on my back again

Not caused any trouble tom, unlike you getting personal with folk, when you became a "newbie"

I've also noted how you tag along with the gang when they attack me.

I would appreciate it if the gang didn't keep attacking me everytime i post, thanks

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
I'd say less if he was posting for himself he gets someone else to do it for him. Like I said gutless.

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
Gutless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not the one behind a keyboard getting nasty and personal with people and saying "Your card is well and truly marked"

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
I wonder if you can find the drinks menu online?

Posted by: lectriclegs (3623) Report abuse
I don't think they'll do special brew or white lightning.

Posted by: mindar (1286) Report abuse

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
£4.65 a glass of wine, £18 for the cheapest bottle of wine

£3 for a bottle of coke
£4.20 for Carlsberg
£5.30 for Guinness

Shocking!!!!!!!!!!

£11 for a standard burger
£4.50 for soup
£19 for Sirloin Steak
£4 for garlic bread

Who's the chef, Gordon Ramsey?

Shocking!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Tommy Two Stroke (3371) Report abuse
I have just priced up a meal, a starter, steak & chips, dessert, bottle of wine and a few other odds and sods, so nothing fancy and with a few extra drinks on top of the meal I won't have any change left out of £100

So if you are reading this Albert, with the greatest of respect yoo can go and shove that restaurant up your arse

Posted by: bentlegs (4363) Report abuse
I think you will pay those prices at any decent restaurant ,

Posted by: jathbee (9420) Report abuse
Indeed you will.
I have already eaten in one of their restaraunts and it was very nice indeed.

Posted by: bentlegs (4363) Report abuse
For Basil, The reason they dont take you off the Wigan World boards is because they need something to laugh at and you are the biggest joke that posts,

Posted by: mindar (1286) Report abuse
My local pub prices are similar. I dont mind paying for good food and a decent bottle of wine.

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
You are behind a keyboard you thick head being nasty and personal to females. Can someone really be so stupid?

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
It would have to be EXCELLENT, not just "very nice" for them prices.

Plus bentlegs you, being a major contributor, wouldn't come on if i wasn't on

Posted by: basil brush (11512) Report abuse
There's no need for such nastiness, tom.

Posted by: TerryW (1138) Report abuse
Be careful members he's losing it now. He doesn't seem to have found his victim card just yet, look behind the clock it'll be next to your Hungry Horse reward card.

Grass is a hardy plant and it soon recovers with a bit of rain, but I suppose that is with a proper root system in place, fresh turf will need additional water, to make up for the lack of a root system

Grass is a weed. It will always grow back.
Even when dogs pee on it.
It should be cheap as chips. People are killing weeds, yet pay silly money for one, grass
Get some of that fake stuff. It looks a lot better and its maintenance free and will last for years
A lot of sports clubs are using it so it must be ok.

Posted by: priscus (7319) Report abuse
A weed is a plant considered undesirable in a particular situation, "a plant in the wrong place"

Grass is a weed if it is growing in the veg plot. Not a weed if part of a lawn or turfed area, or anywhere where it is deliberately being cultivated.

Our cereal crops are but cultivated stains of what once had been wild grasses.

A nice two course lunch for 12.50. The prices are consistent with restaurants of that ilk. I would certainly give it a whirl.
