WIGAN U3A Update (FB - 15 Nov):

The meeting was attended by about 120 people, most of whom would like to see a Wigan U3A. (An enthusiastic show of hands)

The next step is to form a steering committee, who will be meeting at Bramble House on Wed 13th December from 10am - 1pm. If you’d like to get involved in the formation then please come along or get in contact with Stephen through our facebook page, Wigan U3A.

Once the steering committee is formed and a constitution put in place we’ll be ready for an inaugural meeting early next year. Any prospective Interest Group leaders please let us know what group. For example: I intend to run the Ukulele group and a self-publishing group.

We’ll send out emails to attendees after the steering meeting, so it could get later in December before we get back to you. In the meantime you can email Stephen with any questions: stephen.pieman@gmail.com
