Been on the Orient Express ecmdj a few years ago. Caught a coach from Warrington to London and travelled back on the train. I think it was from Victoria Station and to see the words 'Orient Express' on the departure board and know we were going on it was magic. The coach we were in was Audrey and our steward was waiting at the door to greet us. The train itself is beautiful it sparkled and the woodwork (marchectry) is fantastic. Coffee on arrival and then a beautiful lunch. It took four and a half hours to travel back to Warrington and I will never forget it. I still have the menu and brochures. As we passed through stations people were waving to us. Fantastic. What a nice
mum you are - go for it.

Eurostar may be delayed - but I've heard it's 'murder' on the Orient Express!

Watched a TV programme on it a couple nights ago, it looked marvelous, if I was given a gift like that I'd be jumping through hoops , so great idea

WOW. would you believe it. Emps, as you typed that I won some tickets on ebay for you. The tickets entitle you to do exactly that. All you have to do is make your way to a destination of your choice, take a packed lunch and some hoops, (Preferably hula ones). There you can while away the hours jumping through hoops. when finished, simply make your way back home and relive the enjoyable experience with your family. How good is that!

A work colleague of mine went on it about a month ago from Liverpool and around Cheshire, spoke highly of it. The jammy sod got it given to him free for buying a ring from a jewellers, god knows how much he had to spend!

The line from centre to northeast Calgary is called Oriental Express for obvious reasons. Price is about $2.65. Round trip highly recommended. Murders add to authenticity but can't always be counted on.
