I posted a similar picture to this one ages ago. (Well it was nothing like it actually, it was F. Howard sat in a tree with the legend 'twitter ye not'..

I've tweeted, but now retreated, Sue, as I only put the twit, rather than wit, into Twitter.

It's true, Sue.
I enjoy following some interesting people - it's a bit surreal, too.
Did you ever find your inner-Beatnik, Dostaf?
I've discovered you can cheat and tweet-nick - 'retweeting' other people's tweets you want to share.

I joined twitter ages since and never go on and I still get emails saying I have so many followers!
Don,t understand it..
How can they follow me if I don,t tweet!

Hello all
I've been on twitter for a few years now. At first, I felt completely lost with it all. They key is to follow people, and to get your "feed" of information built up.
I support Everton, so I follow the club's official twitter account as well as a few of the staff who work for the club, sometimes getting the inside scoop on injuries, etc.
I also listen to WISH FM breakfast, so I follow Claire Hannah. Take the time to follow people, and eventually - it will make sense (hopefully)!
Should anyone give a flying twit about it, I'm @adum.
Good luck!

I'm on twitter but don't log on regularly. My fella however prefers it to FB.

No, I never did find that inner Beatnik, Jo Anne.
It was probably a bit of trapped wind. Or a morsel of mouldy cheese, I'd eaten late at night.

What a shame.

My head's all mashed at the moment. I'm trying to remember a film with a rather camp 'henchman' in it who was like a beatnik. Had like a goatee type beard and an magnifying glass round his neck on a chain.
Was very critical of R Hero's dress sense.
Peter Sellers (Hero) comes to mind.
Brain's jammed now.

Is it one of the films listed in Peter Seller's filmography on www.imdb.com, Dostaf?

Could possibly be Casino Royale. May not even be P Sellers, Jo Anne.
Had a beard like John Osborne. (Get Carter)
I may even be confusing him with the bloke with lorgnettes here (1:44)
