Has anyone used Platt Bridge M.O.T. test center, in Lower Ince, and are they any good.?

For the last couple of years we have used National Tyres and Autocare.
I think its part of Halfords.
We have found them to be totally honest, trustworthy and very accommodating. And not expensive for an MOT, £45
Highly recommended

They are in the old Ribble Buses Garage on Wallgate opposite the Pier.

My family use John Atherton on Wood Street near the Range. I can't praise them highly enough.

Jacks:

The company I work for uses John Atherton's for our vehicles same as J3mbo, and that's where my car is booked in at the end of this month. We've used them for many years and never had a problem with them.

They are 100% trustworthy, honest and reliable, but right now they're booked solid with MOTs. I only just managed to sneak mine in today.

I have only used John Atherton for over 20 years, they are excellent.

The reason I'm asking about Platt Bridge garage mot is because it is within walking distance from our house. My wife (I don't drive) is not in the best of health, and it would just be so convenient for her if she gets it done there. Thanks for all the comments.

I have also used John Atherton for the last six years, and that includes any work required for the MOT, before that I used Bryn MOT Centre, but only for the MOT test.

Why not ask the garage if they can collect it for MOT and then return it later.
It may cost a bit more but it will be less stress.

We use the Mount Autos at Whelley for repairs and MOTs. Good lads, straight as a die

For the time it takes to do a MOT your wife could stop with the car. Most MOT garages have a chair and most would make her a cuppa while she waits

Jacks:

John Atherton's collects my car for me when I'm at work (but they collected it from home as well during the pandemic) and brings it back, and didn't charge extra but, like I said, they're currently snowed under with MoTs. I suppose it does depend which area you live in though.
