Well I had my first easyjet flight into Moscow this morning. Direct from Manchester and got to say good value for money.
I will post some information or email you later with some advice on a few changes upon arrival but all good and for the better.
It's also worth buying a butty, coffee and twix on board to break up the four hour flight.

Without TV or entertainment on board it gets boring....

Hopefully he's staying somewhere out in the wilds with no internet connection.

I think I read he was staying at the Krumlin or something similar. His mate lives there.

PS You could say his mate is "Putin" him up for a few days.

@Perkin

I believe he uses those as weapons when he's charging up and down King Street rioting.

Being a fellow rugby fan and knowing a little more about broadly. I don't mind what he says. I know beyond all that he is a decent guy.... Sorry broady but we have a few common friends it seems.

Darren,
I hold no hatred for anyone. I know you are friends with one person I was in Tenerife with last year but I wasn't aware we had anyone else in common. There you go it's a small world.

I've been told it's about the same as any BIG city in the U.K. We will be staying there for two days(flying to Moscow on a Sunday and leaving on the overnight sleeper train on Tuesday) before moving onto Kazan for two and a half days. Then flying back to Moscow on Friday afternoon and then flying back to Manchester Friday night

Local beer and spirits are cheap but like most places imported is around 4 quid a pint. Im going into the centre on Monday and will check out all the places I know are decent and wont cost you a bomb.

Are you taking hand luggage only?

Paul
In Sweden, I found beer expensive and one bar offering happy hour at £ 7 per pint. So what's the cost in Switzerland for beer and general living?

Was in Dublin last week and it was 5 Euros a pint, over here its about the same Norway was the most expensive and I also went when it was happy hour, When I complained to the Landlord about the expense and pointed out that it was happy hour he replied "I'm happy"!
