Notes / message: Looking for families of Dorothy Seddon and William Wilcox - addresses 10 Brinsop Street, Aspull nr Wigan and Scot Lane, Aspull nr Wigan. Dorothy emigarated to New Zealand in 1807 with sisterinlaw Elizabeth Seddon. Willliam Wilcox emigrated appro 1905 with William Seddon and Willliam Ainscough. All are known to have worked in coal mines probably as datallers. Dorothy worked as a spinner in the cotton mills. Dorothy and Willliam were married in a joint ceremony at St Elizabeths in November 1898 with William Seddon and Elizabeth Jackson. Dorothy is the youngest child and was born 24/11/1883, William was born 12/10/1882.
