James Heyes is the Carrier to St Helens and Wigan with a business at Billinge Chapel End mentioned in the 1881 Directory. He and his wife Jane (formerly FOSTER) then lived at Billinge Rant, where they had a couple of lodgers. Both of them were born in Billinge - but where? any information will be useful.
