Per 1881 census, he was born 1836/7 in Little Lever, Bolton, Died in Wigan, Milton Lodge, Pemberton, 1907. Shown on marriage cert. Top Chapel, Tildesley, July 10. 1859, as age 23, and father was John. Also info re: Thomas one of James's sons, born 1868, and had children Frank, Eric, Hilda, Marjorie, Ronald. I am descended from James's other son, John Martin Aspinall, and My father, Gilbert Paul Aspinall.
