This is a photo of the Horseshoe Hotel that used to be at the bottom of Millgate.
It should be filed under 'pubs of the past', but I didn't know how to get it in there.

Alad i used to go to junior school with,Kenneth Culshaw,i seem to remember his mam and dad having the pub.All i remember about pub is bar seemed to be very high,same as Seven Stars

Is the pub still standing? My 2nd Great Grandfather was the publican in 1881 and died their in 1882
