My brother was there, he went to watch the Kinks and said they were diabolical.LOL.Bet it was fantastic really LOL.

I went there one afternoon Captain Beefheart was singing Jeremy Beadle was one of the organisers I just walked in nobody asked me for a ticket. having said that it was up turt taters in mud. the local shopkeepers wellied the prices up on basics like milk etc I never shopped with them again.

Beefheart never performed in the afternoon; he played early Sunday morning...about 2.30 am...
Great weekend...
Kinks were actually quite good....

woahhh just came across this site. One of my best memories was Bickershaw festival 1972. I remeber dancing with my friends in knee high mud while Captain Beefhart was playing. Them wer days lad....
