This is Bert Ralph my cousin on the centre photo on tour in France also bottom photo first left. Wigans first match was played against a French select team at Roanne.
I worked with Bert for years at Casual Sportswear (later Bagir), he was head mechanic. I had no idea he played rugby to such a high degree. Its been great to see the photos Joy, thanks for sharing them.
