The new St Barnabas church was opened in 1961 and a new brownie pack was formed. They are shown meeting on land behind the old Mission
church, with Hunter rd in the background.
Rev Arthur Robinson is the curate.

You wouldn't happen to have any photos of the old Mission Church would you Frank?

Mick, I have a copy of St B's 25th Anniv booklet with a picture of the Mission interior and 3 old walking day pictures, showing part of the Mission. This should be in Marsh Green library or the History shop or Wiganlibrary.
Let me know

Many thanks for that Frank. My grandfather was christened there in 1895.

Hello Frank. I've been unable to get to the History Shop yet. If I'm unsuccessful I'll bear your kind offer in mind. Many thanks,
