The entrance to Peter Pan at Southport c1948. I've no personal memory at all of this location but I presume it warranted a picture at the time.

Brilliant childhood memories. I used to go in a play area in there which to me at the time, was like being on the beach with swings etc. It was early 60's when I used to be taken there. Ta for piccy.

Peter Pan playground was alongside the pier at Southport where Pizza Hut and Mc Donalds are not situated

we always ended up there on the labour club trips.

this was back in the middle fifties

We always used to go to Southport on the club trip. I think we got £1 spending money. If I remember rightly there was a train that used to run between the two fairgrounds.
