The party was at The Institute, Spring Gardens, Wigan. Stephen Saywell, Carl Fairclough, Stephen Murphy & Kevin Dutton. I can't remember the name of the lad at the back he lived in the Spring Gardens/Frog Lane area. Stephen Murphy was the Chairman of the Greater Manchester Police Authority until 2004. Times must have been hard going to a party in my Thomas Linacre School blazer.

Hi Carl,it's good to see the old blazer again.I used to get one free because we were poor.I had the smartest blazer in the class!
Hi Joan, I think Kevin did have a sister called Eileen but I am not 100% sure. They lived in Frog Lane opposite Lower St. Stephen Street and next door to the John Woods/ Walmsleys engineering works.
Hi Carl what a LOVELY pic this is Kevins younger sister was Eileen ( and that is for sure) I see Kevin around from time to time and he is looking very well.I am now 67 --WOW-- where did that come from, I still work in engineering as a Freelance Design Draughtsman / Mechanicl Engineer MY 2 daughters are well and truely grown, and life is still good for me ( hope the same for u Carl )
