Yes that is Jenny Sutcliffe. She was there at the same time as me. I think she has her own school now in Pemberton.

Yes Jenny has got her own very successful dancing school in Pemberton, just been to watch her latest show at St. Helens Theatre Royal ~ exellent! Both me and my two daughters used to dance for her. Is that Lucy who also has her own dancing school now?

Miss Fenns brings so many happy memories to me. It gave me so much inspiration and I danced for 18 years professionally. I trained with Jenny and Tina at NBS. There were lots of great dancers and teachers that came out of Miss Fenn's school. She was a lovely caring teacher and my days of her and my classes will be with me always. I think that is Odette's (Tina's leg!) in the picture. Oh.. what fabulous days. I only hope my students will think of me as I do of Miss Fenn.

I attended my first ballet class in 1951!.Having enjoyed many wonderful years of taking part in school shows,Charity Concerts and assisting Miss Fenn in classes when older.I moved to Swansea in 1974 and completed my training and continued to teach ballet in my own school.40 years later with an established school,my love for the Ballet continues. My younger sister Kathryn,Daughter Amelia have danced professionally and now teach. Daughter Helen and grand daughter Jessica also teach dance !-Who would have thought when I started my first class at 3 years of age!? Such happy memories. You were an inspiration Miss Fenn Thankyou.Thankyou to my dear Mum for introducing me to such an exciting hobby which has been a lifetimes vocation .Be lovely to hear from anyone who also remembers classes in St Johns Church Hall? Oh my goodness I have just come across this site..... Miss Fenn is my mum and I can remember some of your names!!!! Growing up in Swinley road and having everyone come on different nights for costume fitting in the front room!!!!!
And the studio where all the scenery was made..... All those years and concerts....
I moved on my first marriage to London and now live in Senegal where I still love being on stage but nowadays as a musician... If there are any more photos lurking in your cupboards please put them on the site

Would love to see photos from the 1950s. I recall a performance dressed as a (probably ungainly) butterfly, and one in which we sang "It's a Never Never Land". Anyone else recall these?
