Wiganers on holiday at the Royal Hotel - possibly Blackpool? The photo includes my Great Grandparents Thomas and Margaret Sharp who both lived in Wigan. Date estimate: late 1940s.

There is a Royal Hotel still in Blackpool, Angie. It is near to the Pleasure Beach, at South Shore.

Annie do you know if the people in the photo are from the scholes area sure I recognize the young lad at the front he lived in caunce rd off platt lane
@Tom, they could be. My Grandparents did move to Scholes but it was years after this photo was taken.
