I remember the old Wigan and Mining Technical College had an art department. A mate of mine Dave Markey, his brother John attended.
Brilliant,Eddie Smalley was very talented.
I went to the Art dept when I left school at 15. I left after a couple of months as the students were older and far more 'arty ' than me... And much more sophisticated I must say..
Veronica..re painting,have you ever heard of Bob Ross..if not just have a toot on Google..he's brilliant.
Yes Maureen I have seen him a few times.. We sometimes watch Art videos at our club..good artist and what about that crazy hairstyle!
Just watched Bob Ross painting a mountain scene or more like scraping one.
Very effective but a bit too chocolate-boxy for me !!
