The photo of George Parker at Livesey,s prompted me to put this photo on of him at the time of his service in the army, he always talked about serving under " Monty "

George hasn't altered much from then to the group photo of the workmen. I wonder if he was one of the Desert Rats serving under Monty. I had relatives who lived in Caroline St.

Sandra, I hope I haven't caused you any offence with my bit of nonsense but if I have I do apologise.

Would George have been Alan's dad then Sandra ? Alan being the chap that used to walk his black lab Oscar in the plantations ?

Veronica, George's wife, Phyllis was a Rushton there were 3 girls and 3 boys. Ernest had a shop on the corner of Caroline street and Chapel Lane. I have a photo I will try and put it on WW. Evelyn, the youngest, married a GI and lived in America until her death in February this year, aged 91.
Ozymandias, no , George never had any children.
D.Tease appologies accepted.
