how many recall the old carry cot? Our first baby was in one and when I came home from the afternoon shift. I had to carry the cot upstairs with the sleeping baby in it

Who could forget the tan sad? .,I'm sure the baby chair would be considered unsafe these days although it would have been ultra modern in the fifties. I remember the good solid wooden ones which could be 'let down'. In the seventies I recall a similar carry cot but without the hood! Different to the mid forties when I believe I was put in a big cupboard drawer,,,,!!!

A big cupboard drawer Vb....posh. I had to settle for a rusty sidecar in the shed. [ memory's not the best but that's what i recall.]
