Probably not sold out to Northern Counties Rev David. I, and many others of my age who lived in Standish in the 40s and 50s will remember Simms coaches on Preston Rd, many a Blackpool trip taken with them, i think Simms coaches could possibly have evolved from the 'lurry' builders.

Billy Simm. And later on the same family were funeral directors
