This looks like a toymaking or craft competition for Wigan Guides.
I can recognise some familiar faces from the Worsley Mesnes/Marus Bridge area. I believe the others were from All Saints and Queen's Hall.

I can see lots of faces I recognise in this photo. From my days at Marus Bridge middle school I think...
Is the girl front Centre called Ann?
