Hey up what happened here then ? Mr Bean wasn't around in 79 so you must have hit a kerb ? lol
On a serious note, where is the pic taken, which garage ?
This looks like a 'post mortem'going on .......but where is the rest of it Oz?
The garage is at Kings Road Ashton, a couple hundred yards north of the Arnold Clarke showroom. At the time it was owned by Barry Greenall. Now JP Trucks.
I had a lad working for me who had one. No Door handles on for long, His pet saying was "It fell over again last night"
Ozy, A lad at Kwik Save had one of these I won't say his
name,he was making it go in K.S.yard he turned a bit quick
and it turned over on its side lol he was very annoyed with
his driving D.C.
Back in the mid 60's an elderly gentleman who had just taken delivery of one of these, 50 miles on the clock, got in it and drove it straight into the back of my father's Morris Oxford, from a 10 yard standing start! Wrote it off, hardly a scratch on my dad's car. Never got in one again.
The best thing ever to come out of Tamworth was the A5.
Derick they turn over quite easy without going fast. This looks like a Robin.
Gary,How do you know they turn over have you turned one over
or did you turn one over when you were coal bagging in it
D.C.
