Eddie.I used to go down a very steep open cast site at
Burton On Trent Staffs with a 30ton Foden load up,the truck
engine wouldn't look at it a D8 used to come put a chain on
the front the driver used to say just start your engine to
work the power steering I will pull you up he used to start
pulling and put the blade down as well what powerfull
machines they are D.C.

Eddie,I don't have a email address of my ow.n but thanks for
the offer I have seen a lot of NCB trucks with smashed fronts radiators & windscreens because towing chains have
snapped but it still goes on unfortunately. D.C.
