Aw the first rock chicks!
I am fascinated with this picture. These two ladies look like the usual stereotype grannies who would make jam and knit jumpers. Yet they are sat astride a motor bike and one looks like she is wearing platform shoes! You could sell this photo to a birthday card manufacturer, I would frame it and put it on display.

Did his Gran live in Soho Street Eddie ?
I think she lived in Belle Green lane. That's her on the pillion. I don't know her name but I'll find out. To be honest, I'm not sure if they actually rode the bike or not, they could just have been posing for the camera. I guess we'll never know.
Thanks Eddie. The lady I heard of was called Ellen (Nellie) and lived in Soho Street, Newtown.
She rode about in the sidecar of her son's Motorbike when she was in her 80's !
