I never knew there was a nursery in Danes Ave.I do remember about in the mid 50's going to what I thought were allotments to get some flowers to take to the cemetery
HLSoutham was my husband's grandfather. He was a highly successful chrysanthemum grower who, in his time won many many gold medals and silver cups. His sons Harry and James ran the business with him. Site now occupied by a culture de sac of houses
