Your Mum was a looker when she was young Susan, and if that's her own hair then she has done one hell of job with the rollers. Just an observation what's with the word proof on the picture.

John G - 'Proof' generally means that the image is the original print from the negative, before larger copies, or copies for publication are made.

Thank you Mick for the information,just seemed strange that you would Wright over a nice photograph.

The word proof was also a way of protecting copyright. When a photographer had "done" a wedding or other celebration once you had chosen the ones you wanted you could keep the proofs but a different photographer would refuse to print or copy other peoples work.
