Taken about 1967, I was the sixer and gained my Leaping Wolf certificate. Left Wigan shortly after that but never join the scout movement. Get memoirs. Sorry can't remember anyones name, even Akela. Was given the Baden-Powel book, will hunt that out and I'm sure people signed it and give more details

David,I don't remember by name but I think I am on that photo, there are members on it that were in the cub troop at the same time as me, the photo will not expand so cannot be sure, however I think I am on the back row second in from the right, I think the lad to my left is called Steven Powell, at the other end of that row extreme left is Michael Rushton, then I think Philip Gorner(not positive. In front of them is Steven Rossbottom, His mum and dad were Landlord/Lady of the Colliers Arms in frog lane, I also recognise many others but can't put a name to them.

Blimey! Just come across this. Yep, it's me. Memories, eh... Hello all. FYI there's an FB site for old (being the operative word!) Bluecoat pupils if anyone is interested.
