26th July - Aug 2nd. The photo was provided by Miss Joan Hesketh who was Captain of the 5th Wigan St Catharine's company for many years. Girls from St Catharine's include, Rita Hust, Doreen Barrett, Pamela Aspinall, Margaret Bibby, Dorothy Richards, Jean Day, Patricia Blundell, Doreen Mooney,and Norah Kay. Captain K Hutchinson of the Parbold Company was in charge of the camp.
