It looks expensive to me to go to Blackpool, it would cost £1. .25. For a family of four, wages in 1954 - 1955 would have been less than 10 a week

I am nearly sure that Albert Walls started when he took over from Grays coaches in the late 40's or early 50's!
That was me, Our Irene, HAHAHA! Then I would go around with a flat cap to each person for a donation for the driver.
