lovely photo i remember watching the queen when she came to Wigan......i would have been 5 years old

How well I remember those double-breasted coats and hair in plaits under hand-knitted bonnets. I bet a lot of Wigan World ladies recall wearing little white heart-shaped badges with their name on, usually bought on a day-trip to Southport.
