Geof, Is your mum the daughter of the previous photo of your grandad? A really sad story about your grandad, but I must say, you children inherited the good looks of your granddad. Have you any idea where the photo of granddad was taken, would it have been in Wigan?

Hi Christine think it was taken in Ashton prior to him leaving for Africa ,thats where He was first posted ,He originally came from Southern Ireland
