Yes that's right. My uncle Jack was personnel manager there, and when my brother and I were kids he used to let us have shoes to wear to destruction as we were rough little beggars! He then would take them back for examination by the management. We got loads of free shoes that way!

That advert takes me back. I am sure they were the makers of the "white sandals" we had to have for every Whit Monday
